Prom plans underway

Juniors have been planning for months for the April 25 formal dance. Prom is open to all juniors and seniors and their guests.
“We started planning big picture things in November. We will finish with the final touches probably up until the week before Prom. Overall, it takes about six months,” junior Faith Peebles, class president, said.
This year’s Prom will take place in downtown Indianapolis at D’Amore Events right on Monument Circle.
“It is going to be held on the 48th floor of the Salesforce Tower on the Circle. The view of the city is going to be stunning,” Peebles said.
The theme of the dance is City of Stars with navy and gold as the theme colors.
“I’m really excited about our theme. I think it’s going to be cohesive with where the dance is being held, and I know the decorations are going to add to the atmosphere,” Peebles said.
Post Prom will take place the following day. Seniors and juniors and their guests do not have to attend Prom to attend Post Prom. The price will include tickets and luxury bus transportation.
“As of right now, it is planned for Kings Island. We are working out all the details, but our main fundraiser will be able to cover the cost of the buses and part of the ticket cost,” Mrs. Andi Campbell, Post Prom Committee president, said.
Information regarding Prom and Post Prom ticket prices will be released soon.
