On July 21 at San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel Studios announced the end of Phase 3, and the upcoming Phase 4 complete with many movie titles. Marvel fans are losing their minds over this and are dying to share their thoughts.
Earth and Space Science teacher, Josh Gimble is excited for all of the upcoming movies and has a lot to say about all of them. “I am most excited for the new Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness out of all of the new announced movies. I loved the first Doctor Strange movie, and I’m curious to see how it’ll be horror based. I’m super excited to see the writers mess with the whole multiverse idea. I am also interested in Thor: Love and Thunder because of the premise and cast. Natalie Portman is back as Jane Foster, and she hated her role in Dark World. We all kind of forgot she existed because she hasn’t been a part of any plot in a while.”
Sophomore Luke Bastin reads comics and has a few thoughts on the future of the MCU “I’m most interested in Doctor Strange, but I really want to see Nightmare get involved with Doctor Strange. He’s one of Doctor Strange’s most common villains in the comics. I’m also very curious as to the What If… story because it’s going to be animated and has The Watcher doing a voice over. The Watcher being involved with it makes me even more curious as to what will happen.”
Junior Jared Ott wants to see a few new ideas out of the new phase. “I am most excited for Doctor Strange because it seems the coolest and has the weirdest and most out-there plot idea. I’ve been a fan of the movies since like 2008 or 2009 around when the first Iron Man movie came out, and I’ve enjoyed seeing where the movies have gone. If I could have a character become a major character in the MCU, it would be Ghost Rider. More specifically I’d like to see Johnny Blaze over Robbie Reyes.”
