Day and Night, a cereal bar new to the Greenwood Park Mall, is great for cereal lovers looking to try something new.

A chain that is already in both California and North Carolina, Day and Night is a unique restaurant. It is located at the Greenwood Park Mall where Johnny Rockets used to be.

The cereal bar offers cereal bowls and shakes in various combinations and top each one with whipped cream. They offer all kinds of cereal and have whole, skim, almond and oat milk. Day and Night also has coffee, French toast and bacon.

My favorite item on the menu is the unicorn breathe bowl. This bowl has Fruity Lucky Charms, Fruity Pebbles, whipped cream, strawberry drizzle and milk. I enjoyed this bowl the most out of everything I tried because it was super flavorful and the whipped cream and strawberry drizzle added to the flavor of the fruity cereal.

I also enjoy the strawberry shortcake shake, which is a mixture of Cold Stone strawberry blonde cereal, Hostess honey bun cereal, graham cracker crust, whipped cream and strawberry drizzle. The flavor of this shake was not nearly as strong as the unicorn breath bowl, but I liked the slight strawberry flavor of the shake.

The main difference between any bowl and shake at Day and Night is the form of the cereal itself. In the bowl, the cereal is in whole pieces like normal cereal. On the other hand, the cereal in the shake is in crushed pieces. I think the whole pieces in the bowl provide a better taste than the crushed pieces in the shake.

A bowl cost $7, and a shake cost $8, which is pricey considering bowls of cereal can be made at home. Overall, the Day and Night Cereal Bar is a good treat and fun place to go with friends to try something new.
